Tonight's episode of Mnet's M! Countdown was the first night of hosting for former H.O.T member Tony An. This marked the beginning of the individual activities for the former members of H.O.T, who had recently
reunited for the first time in 7 years.
Mnet posted a picture on their twitter of the new MC with his co-host, Shin Soyul.
M! Countdown's Top 10 this week are Big Bang, IU, G.NA, Navi, Kahi, Lee Hyun, Kan Miyeon, 5dolls, Mighty Mouth, and MBLAQ. The top three were revealed to be MBLAQ, Big Bang, and IU. Who won tonight?
Two big artists made their comeback and debut tonight. SS501's maknae Kim Hyungjoon
performed "My Girl" and "oH! aH!" off his
first mini-album "My Girl."
Big Bang also made
their long awaited comeback on M! Countdown and despite not performing last week, the group
won their first award of the week. Tonight they performed "Cafe" and "Tonight"
Teen Top had
their first goodbye stage of the week and will be taking a short break from promotions. Tonight, Teen Top performed "Supa Luv Remix" for the last time on M! Countdown. Jewelry performed "Back It Up" with a special twist. The song's background was given a more modern sound and highlighted Baby J's rapping. Lee Haeri made a special appearance and
performed her release track "Can You Hear Me?" for her musical "Tears of Heaven."
Tonight, MBLAQ, Big Bang, and IU went up against each other for the win, however, Big Bang edged out over the other two and won their second M! Countdown award! This time, Big Bang were there to received their award and proceed to perform an encore for fans.
