SS501's Kim Hyung Joon becomes a pro-gamer Season 2

SS501's maknae, Kim Hyung Joon participated last year in MBC's "SS501 Kim Hyung Joon Becomes a Pro-Gamer". The tv show revolved around Hyung Joon's ambition to become a pro-gamer in Starcraft (in Korea, you can become part of a team and play Starcraft professionally - a job). He captivated audiences' hearts with his indiscriminate social personality despite of meeting setbacks.

The show also had high viewer ratings. During the course of the show, Hyung Joon practiced and competed, even having the chance to have a match against his younger brother, Kibum from U-Kiss, when U-Kiss visited him on the show. After 10 episodes, the show ended and Hyung Joon had watery eyes as he left the practice room where he had spent 3 months practicing with his team members and competing against other players. He left a message on the board for the his team, MBC Game Hero.

It has been decided that there will be a Season 2. In Season 2, Hyung Joon will help form a team of players. He will be directly in charge of the management and upkeep of the team from selection of the team members, practices, seeking out matches and competitions. His strong ambition is reflected in his selection of the 7 players to form the team, through open auditions.

The first episode of Season 2 premiered on Jan. 21st on MBC Game Channel.
