One of the biggest concerts of the year in Korea occurred on May 28th at the Seoul Sangam World Cup Stadium in Seoul. This year marked Dream Concert's 17th anniversary and invited 24 singers and groups to perform, including TVXQ, 2PM, 4minute, SHINee, BEAST, G.NA, Rainbow, After School, and more.
Over 40,000 local fans and many reporters attended this year's Dream Concert, proving the concert's popularity each year as it invites some of the most well-known idols and singers. According to one of the concert's sponsors, Korea Entertainment Producer's Association, this year, the concert attracted over 4,000 fans from overseas who came to watch their favorite bias perform. It was reported that over 2,500 fans were from Japan and a total of more than 50 foreign media from China, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the USA, South America, Europe, and Japanese media Fuji TV attended to cover the annual concert. Representatives from various other Asian agencies came as well.
The Dream Concert will be aired on Korean TV through KBS 2TV on June 10th.
