United Cube (the Cube equivalent to YG Family, SM Town, JYP Nation) consists of BEAST, 4Minute, and G.NA, while artists from A Cube Entertainment (the Cube equivalent to JYP’s sub-label AQ Entertainment), rookie girl group A Pink, Mario, and Huh Gak also took the stage as family guest performers that evening.
At the press conference prior to the concert, BEAST’s Yoon Doojoon told reporters, “To be honest, I was envious of the concerts that the larger agencies held (laughs). Really! I was jealous they went to France, and though this may be a weak start, I consider it a big step for us.”
The 3+ hour long concert was filled with reprisals of the artists’ hits songs such as BEAST’s “Breath,” G.NA’s “Black & White,” and 4Minute’s “Mirror Mirror,” along with never-promoted songs and special collaboration and individual stages.
This was just the first stop on United Cube’s first concert tour, with the highly anticipated Tokyo and London concerts scheduled for August 25 and November 19, respectively.
