Big Bang wins Most Popular Korean Artiste for Singapore e-Awards 2011

From February 7th to March 21st, Singapore Entertainment Awards conducted e-awards voting for artists in

various entertainment categories like movie, TV, music, radio, etc. There were 18 different "Most Popular" categories.

In the subcategory of "Most Popular Korean Artiste" under the music category, the Korean artists nominated included: 2PM, SHINee, Super Junior, SNSD, Big Bang, BEAST, JYJ, F.T. Island, TVXQ and CN Blue. In the end, Big Bang came out on top and won the award.

Also, three Korean television dramas were nominated in the subcategory of "Starhub TV Most Popular Asian Award" under TV category. The three Korean televsion dramas nominated were "IRIS", "The Slave Hunters" and "You're Beautiful". Although in the end, none of them won the subcategory, it is still quite impressive because out of the 10 dramas nominated, 6 were Chinese/Taiwanese, 1 was Japanese and 3 were Korean.
