MTV Korea to launch new music show

While fans of Kpop music eagerly wait for new episodes of big music programs to air every week, it seems
they will have one more to add to their list. MTV Korea will be launching a unique new music show by the name of "The Show."

It will feature many popular artists who will be performing under different themes for each episode. Apart from the usual categories such as "Hot Artist," "Super Rookie" or "Comeback Singer," "The Show" will also have a special concept called "Special Unit." In this concept, different artists from different groups will be asked to perform together for a special stage.

Another more unique fact is that the show will make use of its MTV status, and will present hit tracks from different Asian countries through the "MTV Asia Chart."

It was also revealed that the show will have Secret's Hyosung and f(x)’s Luna as their fixed hosts. And to commemorate their first show, they will be the first to perform as a special unit.

The first recording will be held on April 12th, and will feature a total of 15 artists including Kim Taewoo, Wheesung, Rainbow, Clover, Kim Hyungjoon, and Tony An. On April 15th, it will be broadcasted through MTV at 7:30 KST.
