Fans donate 1.86 tons of rice on behalf of JYJ's Yoochun

JYJ's Yoochun and his fans have donated 1.86 tons of rice to children in need. Their actions have become a hot topic among the people.

At 11 a.m. on May 17th, MBC's new Monday-Tuesday drama, "Ripley" held its press conference at the Seoul Banyan Tree Hotel. The main cast Kim Seung Woo, Lee Da Hae, Park Yoochun and Kang Hye Jung were present and expressed that they are ready to portray the characters in the drama and they all wished for the drama's success.

On the day of the press conference, the thing that attracted the most attention were the various congratulatory flower stands. These stands, with rice on their platforms, came from Yoochun's fans from all over Korea in order to celebrate the start of filming for the drama and also in hopes that the drama will become a big hit. The rice and stands were carefully prepared by the fans and the amount of rice totaled 1.86 tons. Yoochun expressed his thanks to all the fans who donated the rice and announced that all of the rice will be donated to children in need.

"Ripley" will premiere on May 30th at 9:55 p.m., succeeding "The Duo".
