Boy Friend to appear at Miss Teen Indonesia 2011

We recently reported on X-5 and The Boss's trip to the KIMCHI event in Jakarta, Indonesia at the beginning of June. Additionally, 2AM, miss A, San E, and JOO participated in the Jakarta Fantasti K-pop Festival 2011 at the end of the month.
This is only the start of the K-pop wave in Indonesia, as Indonesian news agencies have announced that Boy Friend will make a guest appearance at Miss Teen Indonesia 2011, which will take place on July 21 at the Sentul International Convention Center.
Boy Friend will be appearing with Latin singer Enrique Iglesias and Thai singer Tata Young. Andi Soraya, representative of Wayang Cinema, said that the members of Boy Friend are Korean youth icons who can serve as role models and inspiration for youth - especially boy bands - in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, Boy Friend is currently busy with promotions for "Boy Friend", the title song from their debut single of the same name. They strive to be like TVXQ and Big Bang and are working to try and win the Rookie Award his year.
